Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book?

We do not take bookings of any form. It is 'first come, first served'.  In the busier months it is recommended to get here early (people start arriving form when we open reception). When you arrive, we will take your name and at 10.30am after the other campers have left, we will pitch in the order of arrival from that morning. Please note we cannot guarantee that we will be able to fit you on, it depends on how many pitches come up that morning. We can transfer your name over to the following day if we were unable to pitch you.

What facilities do you have?

We have hot, token operated showers. Tokens can be purchased from reception during opening hours. Flushing toilets and washing up facilities with hot taps at all sinks. Washing machine and tumble dryer. Campers kitchen with microwave and toaster. Stand pipes for filling water containers - all cold water onsite is drinking water.

Can we have electric on our pitch?

We have a number of hook ups available, again these are 'first come, first served'. We will try our best to give you electric if you would like it. If it is not available on the day you arrive, we will try to accommodate your needs the following day, or when one becomes available.

Am I allowed to have visitors?

Visitors are allowed, but must park their car in the village car park and walk up the lane to see you due to limited space on site. Please also note that visitors are unable to use our shower facilities, as these are reserved for campers only. Please can all visitors report to reception upon arrival.

What time do we have to leave?

Departure time is strictly 10am. There will new arrivals waiting for your pitch, so this is important to enable us to prepare the pitch for the next camper at 10.30am.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome, but please take them offsite for toileting and clear up after them. There is no extra charge.

I have family/friends staying on your site, can we pitch next to them?

Absolutely, so long as there is space. We will do our best to enable this, but cannot prevent other campers having the space if they are being pitched first. Neither will we squash tents/vans in, we keep everyone spaced out for fire safety, as well as comfort.
